Equibase Launches Premium Option for Entries Plus

Equibase Company today announced the launch of a premium version of its Entries Plus™, an interactive product that takes race entry and basic racing past performance data and presents it in a graphic format. Entries Plus and the new premium component are available for $2 per card at, on mobile devices, and through QR codes found in hardcopy track programs for every race at all North American racetracks.

Entries Plus Premium greatly expands the amount of information available to users presented within the same visual categories as the basic version — bar charts, line graphs and color bars — in addition to an overall snapshot category for each race. Fans can sort columns, add and delete only the horses they want to see, and touch the graphs to reveal specific data on each horse. Additional data features of the premium component include start, win and win percentage, and Equibase Speed Figure information within categories such as “at the track,” “at the distance,” and “on the surface.”

“Entries Plus has really resonated with casual fans because the product makes it so easy to engage and interact with the data,” said Equibase eBusiness Operations and Development Manager Chris Dawahare. “With Entries Plus Premium, fans will have access to data elements seasoned handicappers use in a past performance to help them make an informed wager.”

Equibase Company is a partnership between subsidiaries of The Jockey Club and the Thoroughbred Racing Associations of North America and serves as the Thoroughbred industry’s official database. Through its website, mobile platform and mobile applications, Equibase offers a comprehensive menu of wagering products, statistical information and video race replays in support of the North American Thoroughbred racing industry.
