equineline.com Enhanced with Information from Argentina

Just two months after incorporating detailed pedigree and racing information from Australia into its industry-leading equineline.com service, The Jockey Club Information Systems, Inc. (TJCIS) today expanded the scope of its global information even further with the integration of pedigree and performance records from Argentina.

“Argentina is not only one of the world’s leading producers of registered Thoroughbred foals, but ranks only behind Australia in terms of the number of shuttle stallions from North America hosted on an annual basis,” said TJCIS president, Carl Hamilton. “Establishment of a data feed from Argentina is another important step toward providing our equineline.com portfolio subscribers and Equineline individual report customers with the most comprehensive catalogue style pedigrees and race records, as well as a more complete assessment of the progeny of shuttle stallions to Argentina.”

In addition to Argentina and Australia, equineline.com reports and services include detailed pedigree and racing information from North America, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan and the United Arab Emirates. Additional countries will be added in the future as Data Management resources at The Jockey Club pursue their ongoing commitment to augment the international database used by equineline.com.

equineline.com is an innovative new Internet service that lets owners and breeders manage their equine investments more effectively. The system centralizes many of the services provided by The Jockey Club family of companies, with access to Equineline Jockey Club InteractiveTM and other services simplified by the use of a universal ID number.

Customers can also create a portfolio of horses and have that portfolio updated in real time with information from a variety of sources. The service also features an Interactive Condition Book which lets users search for specific race conditions at tracks throughout the country; and a secure messaging system designed to facilitate communication among owners, breeders, trainers and farm personnel.

A free virtual tour is available at http://www.equineline.com. Additional information can be obtained by calling TJCIS at (800) 333-1778 or by sending e-mail to equineline@jockeyclub.com.
