The Jockey Club Issues Reminder for Reports of Mares Bred

The Jockey Club encourages stallion owners and managers who have not already done so to submit their Reports of Mares Bred (RMBs) as soon as possible to avoid delays in receiving their Service Certificates for the 2007 breeding season.

“Submission of RMBs is the first step in the registration process for foals of 2008 and timely reporting enables the registration process to proceed smoothly and efficiently,” said Matt Iuliano, The Jockey Club’s vice president of registration services. “It also allows The Jockey Club to maintain and disseminate the most complete breeding statistics for the industry’s benefit.”

RMBs can be submitted online through Interactive RegistrationTM (IR), which expedites the registration process for its registered users by eliminating several manual processing steps that can affect turnaround time for Service Certificates, name tags, Certificates of Foal Registration and other documents.

IR is available at no charge through http://www.registry.jockeyclub.com. A user ID and password are required and can be obtained by signing up on the web site or by calling The Jockey Club Registry at (859) 224-2700 or (800) 444-8521.

Otherwise, completed forms can be mailed to The Jockey Club, 821 Corporate Drive, Lexington, KY 40503-2794.
