Virtual Stable to Follow Contenders fo MBNA America® Challenge Championships

Fans of American Quarter Horse racing can now use Virtual StableTM to track the progress of leading contenders for the MBNA America® Challenge Championships, it was announced today by the American Quarter Horse Association and Equibase Company LLC. The service is available at no charge through www.aqha.com and www.equibase.com.

Virtual StableTM will notify users via e-mail on a once-daily basis of entries, results and workouts for the leading contenders for each of the six championship races to be held at Sam Houston Race Park on Nov. 6, 2004. Included with the notifications are links to additional information such as complete entries, charts and race programs.

“We believe our fans will enjoy an easy way to familiarize themselves with, and follow the progress of, the leading contenders on the road to the MBNA America Challenge Championships,” said AQHA executive director of racing Gary Carpenter. “These daily e-mails will deliver all this information to fans in a fun and enjoyable way instead of having to gather it themselves.”

The MBNA America® Racing Challenge is American Quarter Horse racing’s richest program. Started in 1993, the MBNA Challenge program has paid more than $30.5 million in purses and awards to its participants in 10 regions in the United States, Canada and Mexico. In 2004, horses and horsemen will compete in 58 regional finals at 21 racetracks to earn a birth to the MBNA America Challenge Championships.
