Bill Casner is a Thoroughbred owner and breeder who serves on the board of trustees for the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association and Breeders’ Cup Limited. In addition, he was a founding board member for The Race For Education. He is also vice chairman and co-founder of the Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP).

Brereton Jones, a Kentucky-based owner and breeder, is the founder of Airdrie Stud in Midway, Ky. He is also a co-founder of KEEP. Jones served as the governor of Kentucky from 1991 through 1995; he was the lieutenant governor of Kentucky from 1987 to 1991.

Earle I. Mack has been involved in the Thoroughbred industry for nearly 50 years. He served on the New York Racing Association board of trustees for 14 years and as chairman of the New York State Racing Commission for seven and a half years. He has been a leading proponent of aftercare efforts for retired racehorses, especially through the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation.

Barry Ostrager, owner of Questroyal Stud LLC in New York, is the president of the New York Thoroughbred Breeders Inc. and serves as the attorney for the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. He is also a board member of the New York Racing Association.

Kevin Plank is the founder and chief executive officer of Under Armour, an athletic performance apparel, footwear, and accessories brand designed for all athletes. A Thoroughbred owner and breeder, he bought the historic Sagamore Farm in Glyndon, Md., in 2007 to implement a long-term restoration plan.

Stuart Subotnick, president and chief executive officer of Metromedia, is vice chairman of the New York Racing Association. Subotnick breeds and races horses based out of his Anstu Farm in Lexington, Ky.
