Good morning, everyone. Welcome to The Jockey Club’s 73rd Annual Round Table Conference. We have a busy agenda so getting right to it.

Today’s first speaker is Shawn Smeallie, founder and managing partner of ACG advocacy of Washington, D.C. Shawn is well known to many here for creating the political strategy that helped us pass the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Act. He’s going to share the view from our nation’s capital, and it’s a good view. Right now we have some exciting news to talk about, including the details of the recent passage of a favorable tax bill for Thoroughbred owners. Shawn, the floor is yours.
