Sire Scanning Service Added to equineline.com Portfolio Service

Sire Entry and Result Scanning is the newest addition to the menu of continuously updated information available to Portfolio subscribers of equineline.com, the new equine management service of The Jockey Club Information Systems, Inc. (TJCIS).

TJCIS president, Carl Hamilton, said the Sire Scanning Service, the first of several stallion components scheduled to be added to the Portfolio service this year, offers the information and flexibility stallion owners need to track the performance of progeny on a daily basis.

“Sire Entry and Result Scanning is integral to effective stallion management and promotion,” said TJCIS president, Carl Hamilton. “With the ability to scan for all races or refine the scan to target specific race types, whether they be stakes, allowance or maiden special weight races, we are once again putting the power of equineline.com back in the hands of its users.

“As an added convenience, a direct link places subscribers just a click away from the complete list of entries and the result chart for each scanned race.”

Portfolio subscribers of equineline.com can utilize the Sire Entry and Result Scanning service free for the month of April. Beginning in May, the service is available for 30 cents per sire per day.

equineline.com’s Portfolio Service, available free for one month to new subscribers, is an innovative new Internet service that helps owners and breeders manage their equine investments more effectively. The system centralizes many of the services provided by The Jockey Club family of companies, with access to Equine Line 2000 and the Registry’s Jockey Club InteractiveTM simplified by use of a universal ID.

The service also features an Interactive Condition Book which lets users search for specific race conditions at tracks throughout the country; and a secure messaging system designed to facilitate communication among owners, breeders, trainers and farm personnel.

A free virtual tour is available at http://www.equineline.com. Additional information can be obtained by calling TJCIS at (800) 333-1778 or by sending e-mail to equineline@jockeyclub.com.
