equineline.com Portfolio Service Now Available for American Quarter Horses

The Jockey Club Information Systems, Inc. (TJCIS) and American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) today jointly announced the expansion of TJCIS’ state-of-the-art equineline.com portfolio service to include American Quarter Horses, putting the premiere stable management tool at the fingertips of Quarter Horse owners and breeders.

“The equineline.com portfolio service now allows Quarter Horse as well as Thoroughbred owners and breeders to integrate the emerging digital economy into the daily management of their breeding and racing operations,” said TJCIS president, Carl Hamilton.

“The proliferation of the Internet has made a wealth of information available to owners and breeders, but acquiring that information usually involves surfing many different sites only to find bits of information at each,” he added. “Our portfolio service harnesses the power of the Internet by serving as an aggregator that searches for and delivers the latest information direct to your portfolio.”

For a monthly subscription fee, users can create an equineline.com portfolio that features, among other things:

For Horses in Training

 Immediate update of past performance lines whenever the horse races with links to each chart

 Notification of entries, results and workouts with links to complete entries and charts

For Broodmares

 Immediate update of Mare’s Produce Record whenever a foal has raced

 Notification of entries, results and workouts for her foals

 Nicking reports for the Mare

For Stallions

 Unique Customized Sire Result and Entry Scanning with links to the complete entries and charts

General

 Ability to track revenues and expenses

 Secure Messaging system designed to enhance communication among owners, trainers, breeders, farms and others

As an added convenience, subscribers who breed and race Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds can include both breeds in their portfolio and receive the most thorough, accurate and timely information updates on each.

“The equineline.com portfolio service for racing American Quarter Horses gives our breeders and owners a high-tech, professional approach to managing their racing stable and breeding stock,” said Dan Fick, AQHA executive director of racing. “Just like investing in stocks, bonds and mutual funds, today’s horsemen can instantaneously track their horses’ performances from the convenience of their home or office simply by logging onto equineline.com. Plus this service will message you through your portfolio when your horses are entered, raced or have progeny that are racing even if you are not the current owner.”

A free virtual tour, which will demonstrate the many features and benefits offered by the service, is available at www.equineline.com.

The monthly subscription fee for a 10-horse portfolio is $24.95, with additional horses eligible to be added for $2.49 per horse per month. New portfolio subscribers receive their first month free.

The entire menu of Quarter Horse pedigree, racing and produce reports offered by Equineline will continue to be offered as it has in the past.
