equineline.com Pedigree Reports Now Available on equibase.com

Catalogue-style pedigrees and five-generation pedigrees for individual Thoroughbreds are now available on equibase.com, it was announced today by Equibase Company LLC, the Thoroughbred industry’s Official database for racing information.

The pedigree reports are the latest offerings to be made available for purchase on equibase.com from The Jockey Club Information Systems, Inc. (TJCIS) and its equineline.com pedigree information service. Last year, lifetime past performance products from TJCIS were added to the equibase.com menu of products.

The equineline.com Enhanced Premium Edited Pedigree report closely resembles an auction sales catalogue page and provides a three-generation pedigree, sire summary, race and produce records for up to four dams and a race record summary for the subject horse. The equineline.com Enhanced Five Generation Pedigree report provides a view of a Thoroughbred’s pedigree going back five generations, and includes inbreeding and dosage information.

“TJCIS and Equibase share a commitment to expand accessibility to pertinent Thoroughbred information,” said TJCIS chairman Carl Hamilton. “The addition of two of our most popular pedigree reports to equibase.com enables us to better serve the information needs of racing fans and others within the industry.”

The Enhanced Premium Edited Pedigree report is available for $15 and the Enhanced Five Generation Pedigree report is available for $3 in the “Products by Horse” section of equibase.com. A sample of both reports is also available so customers can see the content and format of each.

"equibase.com customers have always had convenient access to a wide range of comprehensive handicapping and racing information but that did not include detailed pedigree information until now,” said Hank Zeitlin, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Equibase. “This will give fans who have a special interest in a particular horse the type of information they want.”
