equibase.com Draws Record Pageviews on Kentucky Oaks and Derby Days

Equibase today reported record pageviews to equibase.com on the days of the 2017 Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby totaling 3.8 million according to Google Analytics, an 18 percent increase over the comparable two-day period in 2016. Traffic also continues to grow on the Today’s Racing app, with 5 million screen views on Kentucky Oaks and Derby days, a 6 percent increase from one year ago.

“The Kentucky Derby, as well as racing’s other major events, continue to generate great interest for both longtime and new racing fans,” said Equibase’s vice president of data operations and development, Chris Dawahare. “We look forward to providing comprehensive information before and after the Preakness and Belmont Stakes along with a wide variety of other products to help fans enjoy our sport during the Triple Crown and throughout the year.”
