NYRA Backstretch Community

Tickets have been moving swiftly not only for Saturday’s 144th running of the Belmont Stakes, but also for the annual Belmont Stakes-related charity event two nights before the race.

On Thursday, June 7, the New York Racing Association Inc. and The Jockey Club will host the Belmont Stakes Charity Celebration, benefiting the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation and the Backstretch Employee Service Team, at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York City.

Catering for the event will be provided by Stephen Starr Events, a leading restaurateur who operates the popular Buddakan and Morimoto restaurants in New York City. The evening will feature a special electric violin performance by renowned violinist Sarah Charness.

The Rubin Museum of Art is located at 150 West 17th Street in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Tickets for the charity celebration are priced at $175 per person. Tickets may be purchased online at http://grayson-jockeyclub.org/helpDisplay.asp?section=4.
