Oaklawn Park Commits $100,000 to Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation

Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation and Oaklawn Park announced today that Oaklawn has contributed $100,000 in support of Grayson.

“Oaklawn Park and the Cella family believe in the importance of promoting the health of our equine athletes, and we are proud to support Grayson’s efforts to improve the wellness of horses of all breeds,” said Louis A. Cella, president of Oaklawn Jockey Club.

“We are elated that Oaklawn is supporting our work at Grayson,” said Dell Hancock, chairman of Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation. “We appreciate the Cella family’s generosity on behalf of horses.”

Located in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas, Oaklawn Racing & Gaming has been one of the premiere Thoroughbred racetracks in the country since 1904, best known as home of the $1 million Arkansas Derby. Oaklawn’s 2019 season continues through May 4.
