With the 2015 Kentucky Derby champion, American Pharoah, officially aboard the Road to the Triple Crown, America’s Best Racing (ABR), a multi-media fan development and awareness-building platform initiated by The Jockey Club, today released episode 3 of its sequel three-part series of digital video ads filmed and produced by ABR Films promoting the Road to the Triple Crown.

The Triple Crown is the most difficult trophy to capture in all of sports. It has happened on only 11 occasions, with the last time occurring in 1978. A 3-year-old Thoroughbred must win three races — Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes, each at a different distance — over the span of five weeks. Despite the prodigious odds, the annual quest to capture this coveted crown attracts the hearts and minds of Americans from coast to coast. More than 45 million people tuned in to NBC Sports for the 2014 Triple Crown, only to witness California Chrome’s quest fall short in early June at the Belmont Stakes.
