| T.I.P. Recognizing Top Thoroughbreds at Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event | |
The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.), created to encourage the retraining of Thoroughbreds into other disciplines upon the completion of their careers in racing or breeding, today announced that it will once again recognize the top Thoroughbreds at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L and CCI4*-S with prize money, prizes, and ribbons, including the following:
At this time, 10 Thoroughbreds will be competing over the weekend, with seven competing under their registered names: Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L
Created and announced in October 2011, T.I.P. recognizes and rewards the versatility of the Thoroughbred through sponsorship of Thoroughbred classes and high point awards at sanctioned horse shows, year-end performance awards, a recreational riding program, and non-competition awards.
