2024 T.I.P. Championships at Stable View to Kick off with Dressage, Jumper Schooling, Trail, and Fun

The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) Championships return Thursday, October 24, after being postponed due to Hurricane Helene. Thursday’s schedule will feature dressage, a mounted and in-hand competitive obstacle trail course, and several fun classes.

The championships are being held at Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina, and continue through Sunday, October 27. The virtual program and the schedule for the 2024 T.I.P. Championships can be found at tjctip.com/About/CSF.

This year’s event has attracted more than 200 Thoroughbreds that will be competing in classes covering nine disciplines. There are 42 divisions spanning hunters, jumpers, English pleasure, dressage, combined test, Western pleasure, ranch riding, competitive trail, and in-hand competition. Each division will be awarded $2,000 in prize money with awards up to 10th place.

“We would like to thank the team at Stable View for their continued support of T.I.P. We are very grateful for the opportunity to offer the championships this year after the devastation of Hurricane Helene,” said Kristin Werner, administrator of T.I.P. “Horses from across the United States and Canada participate in the T.I.P. Championships each year, and we look forward to highlighting the adaptability and talent of this wonderful breed both off the track and on it.”
